Everyone loves to make a batch of pancakes with their kiddos, but most parents stick with the quick and easy route of pre-packaged pancake mix. By adding a few simple ingredients they become a delicious and crave worthy breakfast dish!
- 1 box of pancake mix ( the necessary ingredients needed usually eggs, water, & milk)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- First, in a large mixing bowl prepare the entire box of pancake mix per the directions on the box. ( We usually make all at once so we have extra in the fridge)
- Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. I usually heat my pan on high once I can feel the heat I will turn it to Medium and cook the pancakes at that heat level. The key is watching the edges harden and the middle bubble up. Once you see bubbling it’s usually the best time to flip! I also recommend spraying non-stick spray on pan in between taking pancakes off and adding batter.
Isn’t he cute!? Just a way to make breakfast more fun! Feel free to adjust the spices to your liking as well. Pancakes are great with whipped cream, maple syrup, honey, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup and so much more!
I hope you have fun with this and ENJOY!!
