Sundays are for Baking Cookies!!!
We have a fun family dinner to attend tonight and I am bringing these bad boys as an added treat! 🙂
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Thoroughly stir through. Add butter and brown sugar.
2.Once stirred through, add the eggs and milk. Then stir in oats and chocolate chips!
**Feel free to add nuts, butterscotch chips, reese’s pieces, etc. Have fun with it!
3. Put on a baking sheet sprayed with non-stick spray. I usually just put globs of the batter onto the tray. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them. We like them a bit mushier so we wait until the edges are browning, but the middle still has some mush to them!
***I’ve also added oats and omitted milk for crispier cookies
Hope you have an amazing day!!
